 As anyone will see the cricket ground at Gymkhana Club is now an oasis of healthy green grass .The rest of the club grounds - the golf fairways in particular - still need repair following last year's floods. It's a big ask to re-surface the lot, but if you're a golfer you can help us a little. Here's what you do……….
THE "SAVE GYMKHANA" GOLF COMPETITION
 Play two rounds of 6 holes of golf (12 in total) at the Gymkhana course at any convenient time during Sixes week. Entry is only 600 Baht, which includes a 400 Baht donation for new grass (the new turf costs 25 Baht / sq metre so you'll be donating 16 sq.m.).
As 3 holes are closed during the Cricket Sixes, you play 2 x 6 holes.
- Register to play , pay (600 Baht) , and declare your handicap at the SIXES CASHIER's DESK. (See Renita). They'll give you 2 Scorecards for the 2x6 holes. OR, if you prefer you may pay (400 Baht) and play one round at a time. Two completed rounds qualify as a competition entry.
- Play your 2x6 hole rounds back-to-back OR separately anytime during Sunday April 2 to Friday April 7.
- Have your scorecards signed by a friend who has gone round with you (doesn't have to be a golfer) - honour system operating here, so please keep it straight! Then hand your 2 completed, signed scorecards in to Renita at the Sixes Cashier's Desk.
- Two completed & signed scorecards enter you in the competition.
- Best male and female scores win.
- Winners (one Male and one Female) will get a commemerative tile in his & her honour, fitted at the Boundary Bar, plus a take-home prize from Gymkhana Club to be announced. Winners and prizes will be announced on Saturday 8th.

Hole in One Contest:
Any contestant who makes a hole in one while playing in this competition will receive a pitcher of "Big Six" at the Boundary Bar, which should take care of any threat of a repeat performance. For those who take their golf seriously, a pitcher of "Big Six" is cheap insurance against good scores by your opponents.
