with the following variations:

- Each time a batsman is 'out', the score of the pair is reduced by
five runs, and the batsman continues batting.
- Each player on the fielding side bowls one over.
- There is no penalty of "leg before wicket" (lbw).
- The penalty for wides and no-balls isnormally two runs, and no extra
ball is bowled.
- There is normally only one umpire. He also keeps the score.
