Second clean-up underway after September floods.

Heavy rains in Chiang Mai province again caused flooding in Chiang Mai city in September, but fortunately the damage was less than the August flood. The Gymkhana Club cricket (and golf) and Boundary Bar facilities were again left with a coating of mud, and once again the Club staff and especially the Gymkhana Golf caddies, plus a few volunteers including Gymkhana Cavaliers captain Eric Little (who provided the attached photos), the cricket pitch and nets will soon be ready for use once again.

One benefit of the flooding: a few low spots in the outfield have been filled in with the silt and will be much more level come the 19th Chiang Mai Sixes & 7th Sawasdee Cricket Cup on April 2 - 8th 2006. See you there!

Ankle-deep mud in the boundary bar, still liquid.

Almost restored once again, but the grass still needs some work.
