In Memoriam: Vinod Balani
The Postel Group from Australia would like to forward their deepest sympathy for the tragic passing of
Vinod Balani who was a very special member of our group from 1996 - 2005.
Michael (Cat) Maher and the Postels Group, especially the Bangkok Postels of which Vinod was a member, send their deepest sympathy to Poonam, Chandini, Bhavesh and the Balani family for the very sad loss of their wonderful husband, father and friend.
The Postels will miss this lovely man as every year, there you would see Vinod on a grey scooter, sometimes with his son, slowly role up to the Postels huts to play cricket. He never let the Postel's down, whether preparing a meal for them or playing a game of cricket, he always came up with the goods. We are all very proud to say that Vinod Balani was a special friend of the Postels.
On behalf of everyone connected with the Chiang Mai Sixes, the Organising Committee would like to add to the Postel's message, our sadness at the passing of our good friend, fellow cricketer and longtime supporter Vinod. May we also extend our sincere sympathies and condolences to his family.
"May He Rest in Peace".
