The 17th Chiang Mai Sixes will run from Sunday April 4 to Saturday April 10, 2004. Last year and the year before, to ease the schedule
of the large number of teams competing, we ‘unofficially’ squeezed in some early group matches on the Sunday before
the official tournament start day. This time, with 32 teams registered to take part we have made it official - the 2004
Sixes will run for 7 days. Also the Official Opening Ceremony will be switched to take place on that first Sunday.
However, the Welcome Cocktail party sponsored as always by our good friends at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), will still
take place on the evening of Sunday 4th April, at 7PM, after the first day's matches.
