Thai Angels

Puy Papworth Captain

Coach and resident scorer. Is well at home in her role as coach amoungst the kids. With some of the Thai Angels on international duty, it will be a difficult job getting her inexperience players up to scratch against the more developed players in the competition. Her careful batting is not really suited to Sixes, but will lead from the front. Quite capable of making a few important runs.

Apinya “Duan” Anomar

Big and strong with a winning smile. A quicky and when she gets it straight the wickets fall. Represents Sahakornsong school in u-15 League and Chiang Mai province U-19 girls

Jriporn “Nam” Longtan

An up and coming star from Chol Prathan Prataek school, where a conveyor belt of talent rolls off the production line. Her first season and showing great potential.

Supawatanee “Ting” Wongtun

The cheeky one of the pack. An unusual delivery but a genuine tweeker of the ball and will get plenty of bounce from the wicket. Can be a match winner on her day. Another U-19 province player and turns out for Prince Royal’s College in the U-15 League, where she’s riding high in the bowling rankings.

Gulisara “Pat” Pundontong

The hand grenade girl. Some of her balls are explosive and other are not so. Has a small problem with consistency. Still has the great surprise element that will make a difference when it matters.

Preeyaluk “Som” Jaisat

Is the tallest of the girls, but don’t be surprised as she is great around the field. Bowls very well and her batting is improving. Currently 3rd in the bowling averages in the U-15 CMSCA League and the captain of Chiang Mai province U-19 girls.

Jutamas “Nan” Tamasee

Not the biggest in the team but this leftie has natural talent in abundance. Will put her heart and soul into every game. Improving as a keeper and batsmen..Her coaches think she’ll one day represent Thailand

Kwankam “Kwan” Tongdee.

This Hill tribe girl from Mae On is pocket dynamite. Diminutive but she proved in Bangkok at the Cricket Youth Championships that size is no impediment to speed. Her pace is too much for some girls, so she’s regularly in the wickets.
