Vaughan (Daddy V) McClear

Has upgraded his Status once again, Uncle V is now a Daddy ( Little Paddy ), so surprised by the occasion he forgot about last years sixes. The year away has seemingly had no effect what so ever on his Batting, Bowling , Keeping or Liver ( unlike previous years ), it is however fielding where as we all know he has no equal, with lightning reflexes and movement across the ground that would make Cliffy Young  proud.  Hope Barb has invested in some Heavy Lifting Equipment to move him off the Massage table !!

Andrew (Speddo) Spedding

A veteran now along  with Daddy V and with his best mate (Jack Daniels), both will surely inspire him on to bigger and better things at the Sixes this year. In preparation Speddo has moved back to Southerners youthful Premier League side and in typical fashion decided to be an inspiration to the Southerners youngsters whom needed support after last years poor run of form (Had most them out until 4 am before and after every game).

Now only having occasional flash backs over that last ball of the game he bowled that went sailing over the bar giving the Floggers and Robbers victory 3 years ago. (getting better thanks to Wanni’s recent generosity).

Jamie (Lord Lucan) Cutbill

Lord Lucan has recovered from a busted Knee (see figure 1), elephant finger, broken heart and being flattened by a rampaging Sri Lankan Test player. Nothing will stop the notorious Lord Lucan from returning to the sixes for yet another week of cricket, drinking, muscle flexing and snatching draws from the jaws of victory.

Still fearlessly diving around in the field and covering for Speddo on / off the field.

Carl (Capt Serious) Taylor

Capt Serious had so much fun 2 years ago he is gagging for a repeat this year. Has been on numerous other tours of Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Iraq and Thailand in preparation for the Chiang Mai Sixes ( a couple of which may have been cricket related ?? ). Always competitive at everything he does, never shirks his responsibility when asked to lead the way and is always unbiased when offering on field advice to the opposing team and his own team (Has the Philosophy that the truth never hurts !!).

David (2 Ball) Metcalfe

2 Ball is back !!, as in the previous 10 years always the first to say “I am in” or ‘Mine’ and remind us that it is time he batted higher than six. 2 ball is also the teams Guru / Teacher  for “Just in Time management “ with speaking engagements all over Perth. Usually arrives at the ground just in time to be told he is batting at 6. Has been on the practice trail with the legendary Toby, so should be in usual form with the balls. (both of them).

David (Pink Panther) Fellon

Surely by now the debonair one is winging his way back to Thailand to ensure an early arrival and acclimatization to the hot and humid conditions he loves so much. As with all great English strikers the Pink Panther has timing, finesse and the uncanny ability to drink shit loads of beer. Rather quieter than his Buddy (Capt Serious)  but if we point him in the right direction I am sure we will see him strike something ( Hopefully the cricket ball !!).

James (The Moose) Moss

Whilst The Moose may have gone into semi retirement these days, there is no doubting this talented Kiwi can still hit the ball miles and winkle a few batsmen out with his bowling. A family man thru and thru, he has taught Daddy V everything he knows except about parenting !! (Probably just as well)

Add Moose juice (tequila) and nothing can stop the Super Moose from rampaging thru the bowling attack, the Southerners tent, the oppositions tent, the hotel room or whichever bar you happen to be in. Sedation is your only option, however “Super Moose Kryptonite” is a trade secret.  (Hint!! buy Speddo a JD prior to the rampage)

Nick (Will Hee) Wood

The Khon Khaen legend is back in the saddle and sloping  towards Chiang Mai. The Wiley off spinner bowls with Coyote cunning and is a powerful if not explosive batsmen.  Probably the best guy to ask about why a cricket ball reverse swings if u bite it ??

Will Hee is a great mate of Daddy V, so  I am sure they will be swapping stories and pictures of their off field activities such as nappy changing, dummy Spitting, beating the kids (at Nintendo), visiting the ACME factory and cricket of course !!
