Mounted men and true

Eric Little

After a pretty rough year 2009 the old stager is back to his old cranky self. As expected he will direct traffic from where ever he is, even if not playing on the day. Feels that this is the Cavaliers year as the new format will suit the team much better this year. Tie me down Kangaroo sport!

Chris Simmonds

Old warriors never fade away, they may get lost in the haze, self inflicted whether it be from the pipe or the bottle. Determined to improve his batting by adding the reverse sweep to his repertoire of shots. That ’ll be the day. Been watching too much TV.

Nick Hanlon

Sports fanatic and now a fitness fanatic is peddling his way to health. Does not play well in September, some thing to do with being black and white. Keep telling him it is April so the ghosts of September will not haunt him. Seems to have lost his straight bat lately but not his guile when bowling.

Phil Powell

Old nobly knees will stagger in and bowl his bullets surprising many unsuspecting batsmen. Will need to belt a few boundaries to save his legs when batting. Bit shell shocked at the sound of broken glass. Tinkle, twinkle and that is no star. Double trouble this lad.

Chris Dodd

Another fine example of the chrome dome look, which seems to be a fashion statement of the Cavaliers. His inclusion will strengthen the fielding with his agility and shame the old geriatrics, not to mention his excellent batting and bowling.

Warawut Suttajit

Again will be our secret weapon with his enthusiastic bowling and fielding. Trouble is all he wants to do is bat, just like most of us. He will be fresh from the Makhamwan games where he will have umpired many games.

Dennis Sweatman

Our new secret weapon. Been great with coaching the kids and shows that he has a solid grasp of the fundamentals of cricket. Will be mean and nasty with the ball and rather solid with the bat. Will be at home with all the other gazelles in the field.

Peter Leeming

The old leftie is raring to go. Will make plenty of runs and will take many wickets with his looping spinning grenades wobbling down from the clouds. Trouble is there won’t be any clouds around Chiang Mai during Sixes. Even if it is sunny Pete will not cast a big shadow.

Dominic Williams

Now this wandering soul has landed back in Chiang Mai after a sojourn in Sri Lanka, where he was purported to be working. Needed behind the stumps and his slashing batting will not go astray unlike him who strays like nocturnal dog always on the prowl. On the cricket field can be heard barking orders none stop. He calls that encouragement.
