Sandy

We still have not been able to coax him back on the field so again he will take the title of El Presidente. But he is useful as a drinks mule and is at every game (cause the lads get thirsty). His hand looks forward to winning this year….

Judy

Moral guidance is needed more and more each year, and Judy is the only one that comes close to being able to achieve this. Someone is doing a masters degree somewhere that will undoubtedly expose this as a total fraud, but until then we will follow her down that slippery slope.

Helen

Has given up the duties of scribe and counter to spend more time propping up the bar. The Green Bar as it is known will be where you find her giving her special support to the more active members of the team. Welcome!

Dean

Might actually make it on the field this year….but then again may find that the bar is a much safer place to be! Principal responsibilities will be to make sure there is vodka or some other silly drink fines for all….fans for the girls….and terrible 80’s music.

Makki

After being named player of the tournament last year (something that we have still not heard the end of) we have promoted him to captain. His efforts to leave Chiang Mai late last year proved to be an epic fail so we have gladly brought him back to the Irish Pub with the proviso that he brings his own……

Mark

Well he is back. He still likes Kyle Minogue! After his first experience as a member of the Irish Pub team he has made the following adjustments. His glasses are now super glued to his face…he has been in slammer training for the last 11 months, his driver has been retrained and he promises he will not pass out before 8pm.

Amrit

This big Indian is built for sixes and the Irish Pub is expecting great things from the switch-hitter. When let out of the tent, watch out for him slugging back whiskey and cough syrup at the bar.

Wahab

is looking to achieve a second year of glory with the Irishtanis. He has been in the nets for minutes this year trying to adopt the bowling style of the greats – look out for his Nehru, his Vettori, his Zaheer and his anonymous blind cricketer.

Zeeshan

the quiet Irishtani. Zeeshan made a name for himself in last year’s Irish Pub team with his consistent bowling and big hitting. A great cricketing mind on young shoulders, who is welcome back to the team this year.
