Steve Harply. In the 2008 Final playing for the Surrey Avos caused carnage in his over by dismissing the Vagrants openers with only a few runs on the board. Hopes to perform with distinction for the Vagrants providing he is not led astray by apres cricket and McDonalds.  May get him to perform his party trick on all fours.

Norman Strickland. Captain of Avos last year and led by example.  Age has reduced his natural speed and agility but by employing his envious I.Q. he would hope to outwit the most capable of batsman by simply bowling six straight balls and avoid batting by being No.6.

Graham Crawford. Again played for Avos in 2008 with much distinction.  A legend in Surrey U.K. and still performing very well for his Club First XI although the ageing process is taking effect. Surprisingly proved to be a popular member last year despite supplementing his pension with his golf winnings.

Jerry Hinds. Very boring last year having got married shortly before the Sixes.  With a year under his belt and having watched his team mates misbehave could well be persuaded to join them for a drink in the evening instead of retiring to his room with a book as he did last year.  Real axe man with the bat and hopes to keep wicket again to save running around in the field.

Steve Naylor. Will Captain his U.K. Club side this year.  Hard hitting bat and pacey bowler.  Can also hit a golf ball out of sight. Superb innings with winning run off the penultimate ball secured the cup for the Vagrants in 2008.  We still think he doubles for Grant Mitchell in the English soap - Eastenders.

Clive Huggins. What can one say!  As I am writing this  - very little.  Probably one of the older players and still hates the youth policy.   Will Captain the Vagrants which is more difficult off the field than on.

Mark Higgs. Hopes to be present if he can be released from his new position as one of the "spin committee" to Aussie cricket.  An important role now the Aussies have been relegated in the world rankings that is until they play in England next year!  As in past years everybody will watch and be impressed when Mark is at the wicket and once again we are hoping he will take apart the bowling.

Cameron Eve. Should arrive from Sydney before the competition starts and hopes to perform with bat and ball as he did in 2008.   His intention is to stay on in Thailand after the Sixes. He has not said why and nobody is asking but we wish him all the luck in the world whoever he is with.
