The Year of the OX

They are revered animals that symbolize diligence, reliability, sincerity, strength and sound judgment. Hence it’s true relevance too the Gymkhana Cavaliers team.

Eric Little, this mighty OXEN will strive to overcome natural impetuosity in judgement to drive his willing herd to victory. A born leader, dependable and possessing an innate ability to achieve great things. Many similarities with Napoleon Bonaparte, he was also born in the year of the OX.

Chris Simmonds, a sturdy beast. Sturdy, earthy, no-nonsense - that's this Ox. Affectionate,  easy-going, a home lover and a wonderful faithful friend. More like Charlie Chaplin who also was born in the year of the OX.

Phil Powell, Honest, open-minded, and meticulous when it comes to his responsibilities, this "Ox" folk rarely leads you down the garden path or changes his mind once has made a decision...which can make him a tad obstinate according to the other animals in the blessed barnyard of life. Definitely akin to Richard Gere. another OX.

Nick Hanlon, a strong Ox this one and is no bull in a china shop. Steadfast and solid, this powerful quite and dependable, possess an innate ability to achieve great things. Oxen tend to be plodding and methodical; he approaches projects in the step-by-step manner that serves him best, and will never lose sight of his goal. A tireless worker who is detail-oriented and believes in doing things right the first time.

Peter Simmonds, a sturdy Ox however, it's not surprising that he might also have a few niggly, not-so-nice characteristics as well like being a titch stubborn, a teensy-weensy bit too methodical, a little feisty with a fierce sense of competition. Certainly not akin to Whoopi Goldberg.

Warawut Suttajit, beneath the placid, easy-going and unpretentious exterior of the "Earth Ox" lies a heart of gold, a modest amount of ambition, and a willingness to bear heavy burdens that might overwhelm others, not to mention a strong sense of loyalty and compassion towards family and friends. A Meryl Streep sort of person.

Len Sparrow, may perceive this Oxen as being far too serious or incapable of loosening up. This sturdy soul is less than social by nature and tends to become introverted in a crowd. To make things worse, he can't be bothered with what other people think and prefer to do what makes them feel best. Behind that calm facade, this Ox can feel easily hurt, lonely and unable to connect with others. Friends and family are a great source of comfort to this beast.
The Johann Sabastian of this group.

Peter Leeming, out in the world, though, this Ox tends to be stubborn, dogmatic, my-way-or-the-highway kind of people who have no concept of when to back down. This oxen don't care to be pushed, especially since he thinks he's one of the good guys of the Chinese Zodiac.
Anton Dvorak would be please to be linked with this character.

Peter Dawson, an Ox that remains calm and persists until all is well. Whenever there will is an opportunity to study and learn which appeals to this Ox not to mention the pride that comes with what is achieved.

Maurice Bromley, an Oxen that tends to be stubborn, dogmatic, my-way-or-the-highway kind of people who have no concept of when to back down. Oxen don't care to be pushed, especially as there is some truth to that theory, although the Ox is smart, trustworthy, caring and honorable. If you need honest, steady and unbiased advice, call on the Ox.
