THAI ANGELS

Maneerat “Jum” Bevacqua

How can you but not want to play cricket when you have a husband that is obsessed by cricket. Now that isn’t strange if he was and Aussie or a Pommie, but he is Italian, but had the good fortune to be raised in England and so learnt to play cricket and he does with all his heart and soul. Will play with all her passion to win.

Wilaiwan “Puy” Papworth

At least Puy is married to a Pommie so a bit understandable that she has an affinity for cricket. You will hear the joyous outburst when she takes a wicket it or makes runs. It has to be sanook.

Donnatthagahn “Jeen” Janthatham

A star in the making. Problem is that she is good at all sports. Her bowling is fast and accurate so the opposition will have to be at their best.

Porntira “Oil” Olarikti

Gives the ball a good tweak and will have all the batsmen perplexed with the spin she imparts on the ball. Can’t see too many making runs of her bowling.

Peeraon “Parn” Kumlar

Is enthusiastic and will bowl it down as hard as she can. The opposition will be surprised at the quality of the bowling from this team.

Preeyaluk “Som” Jaisat

Tall and quiet not totally orthodox but gives the ball a mighty clout when she connects and loves to make runs.

Gulisara “Pat” Pundontong

A very useful cricketer and will have a lot to say on the day.

Supawatanee “Ting”  Wongtun

Don’t be fooled by size as this willowy girl has plenty of get up go and will make it hard for the opposition.

There will be more managers that players as Marco, Martin, Parn, Warawut, will all be there yelling encouragement to the local “Angels”.
