Maurice Bromley
Tournament director fielding in the “covers”, always cruising for that little extra to keep this Chiang Mai Sixes on top as the best and happiest cricket event of the year. Major coup this year with San Miguel recognizing the potential of cricket.
Renita Bromley
At Extra cover so whatever Maurice misses Renita covers keeping a tight reign on the finances and ensuring all is ship shape. Can be seen selling beer tickets and souvenirs etc every day.
David Walker
Square leg, the watchful eye snaring the errant ideas and keeping the magazine on track with a wide view of all settings and layout. Can be a little errant in the dark. Known to stalk the streets at night.
Peter Dawson
Can only field at Fine leg as he is always looking for a fine leg !! In control of the new scoreboard keeping us all informed of the winners and losers.
Anne Dawson
At Deep fine leg overseeing the scoring from the deep and hopefully getting the sums correct in the scorers box high up over looking the field. The best seat in the ground, complete with air conditioning.
Eric Little
Position as Sweeper keeping the ground and surrounding areas in good condition for the enjoyment of all the cricketers that visit Chiang Mai.
Reds” Ian Liddell
Astutely placed at Silly point. Just his position he likes, close to the action where he can do a bit of sledging to all concerned. His two penny worth is always worth noting if you can understand the “strine”.
Ray Matti
Silly mid on, with his close in partner their rabid mutterings are sure to cause a few murmurs from the batmen. Never short or advise and will button hole your ear anytime.
Paul “Hagar” Jones
Silly mid off. Umpires think they are always right so silly mid off is the most suitable place for the Chief umpire to field. Has on the odd occasion been spotted in unusual poses during the Sixes, pictorial evidence is available to prove the same.
Awn Pattamaporn
At 1st slip is always ready to snare the errant ones into a healthy thirst quenching drink at the bar. Her crew is every ready to assist in dulling the memory of dreadful mistakes made while attempting to play cricket.
Jenny Morgan
2nd slip. Where else can the Duck Lady field to readily remind the duck makers of their demise. Caught out by an expert, pay your fine and all is well !! Great fund raiser for the kids’ cricket.
Ric “Viking” Davis, Gully
A throaty gully that is, as his dulcet tones caress the field from the media centre. With 36 teams this year he will need all the help he can get to last the marathon of 7 days of continuous cricket. Beware the errant cricketer that makes a mistake.
Mike McCune
Wide gully. It has to be wide for this man as he twiddles the key board informing the Sixes’ wide audience on the Internet, listening to this huge event. Discerning pallet and knows the best places to eat in Chiang Mai.
Terry Skillet
Long off, the only place for him to field as his voice reverberates around the ground from the bar at all times, reaching all places with ease.
TAT
Mid on, 3rd man, Short 3rd man, 3rd slip 4th slip or anywhere else the lovely ladies can field.
