2007 Team

Pim “Captain my Captain” Kemasingki

As the new captain of the Chassies, and ballerina bowler, she  has already demanded that her minions  (the Chassis team) be at her beck and call, between matches  you will find her WAITING in her hammock for the foot massage and drinks to be served to her, (she’ll be waiting a long time). On the field you will see her minions responding to her every direction.

Lindy “Boot Camp” Pohl

THE CHASSIS’ HOT SHOT PLAYER IS BACK!
Although it has been rumoured that she left Thailand to live in South Africa, Lindy has actually been in boot camp training for this year’s sixes. With the physique of a goddess and the power of a demon, she will once again be terrifying the opposition with her fast bowling and powerful batting.

Natasha “Balls” Hird

As one of the founding members of the chassis team and with her unique bowling style Natasha really knows how to throw a ball with hair splitting accuracy. Her batting is as sharp and hard as her Russian wit. A real force to be reckoned with.

Fiona “Hole in One” Dawson

As the chassis multi talented golfer/cricketer, caretaker, teacher and clubhouse manager, Fiona will be smashing the sixes, taking care of the team, and teaching us a few things about after-game drinking. It is therefore she is the clubhouse manager for the Chassies team.

Michelle “Mouth’ Ring

Her cackling can be heard from the bar to the hammock and her humour can drown the faces of career sailors with blushes. Michelle “Mouth” Ring keeps it real and keeps it filthy. Following half a decade as the Chassis manager, she was forced, kicking, screaming… and swearing… to join the team as our wickie and claims that her experience with balls comes in handy behind the stumps.

Oppositions are warned to wear earplugs as the Chassies will not take any responsibilities for vocal disturbance from Michelle during the games.

Michelle “Spring Chicken” Green

The team’s youngest member is a four year veteran of the sixes, and, as the rest of the team ages (ahem, gracefully) Michelle has been in training for many months to do all the running on our behalf (while we sit in the shades sipping champagne. And point.) Though on the party front, the aging biddies haven’t quite conceded her victory. Bright eyed, bushy tailed, perky and with the shine of enthusiasm and youth in her eyes, Michelle is expected to do all the work against the competition as well as providing eye candy for the judges.

Joanne “Chuffing” Robinson

Good things come in small packages and that is certainly true about Joanne.
Making her debut this petite, blond cutie with her full on northern chuffing accent has a real appetite for parties (as long as there’s plenty of wine and cheesy music) and a competitive spirit to match.  She is our head cheer leader with her sunny, bounciness.

Rainy “Skippy” Stagboure

With the power of a Kangaroos kick, this newbie Australian Sheila brings enormous striking power and Auzzie humour to the team both on the field and off. An avid beer/wine (well, anything with alcohol) drinker you’ll have fun watching her bounce around the pitch.

The Chassies may be sagging, hagging, drooping, bloating, wrinkling, and getting on a bit, but watch out world!
