Chris Coley
-
Like ‘Old Father Time' Chris has been there, done it and bought the 30 baht fake t-shirt. Once again our tour leader has brought together a fine body of men, whether he remains in control or returns with all of them intact remains the vital question! As a keen racing man his players have been well schooled and the odds for one of his sides of winning at 5 to 4 look a bit short, but this could have been due to a mix up between the odds and the curfew time!
Mike Terrington -
Once again bar owners in Chiang Mai will be rolling out the red carpets as Senior Terrers rolls into town. Known to some as the ‘last of the big spenders' he really should use this motto when choosing his shirts - we thought Miami Vice had died in the 80's, but obviously not!!
Paul Drew -
Paul, who spent Christmas in Thailand on the annual Gipsy recce, returned giving it the ‘thumbs up'. Drewy will play for the Sorries this year as transfer negotiations with John Dunn broke down on deadline day, the fee having been agreed but personal terms unable to be finalised!
Bill Johnson -
Johnny Cash's stunt double will again be gracing the mean streets of Chiang Mai this year. Bill is not frightened to improvise on or off the field and is never scared of a challenge no matter what it is, where it takes him and whether Mr Briers will walk the line!
Graham Clarke -
Only Chiang Mai virgin of 2007, he will no doubt do all the things first time visitors do…… riding (elephants!) and a visit to the Spotlight Bar (both activities unlinked!). Clarky is a keen golfer and will be a great addition to the side.
Paul Redwood -
Carlsberg don't make cricketers, but if they did he'd probably be the most laid back cricketer in the world! He is only man we know who can fall asleep standing up and has even been known to take a catch whilst in slumberland down at deep mid on. Redders has spent the last 3 months preparing for the trip in Australia - it's an easy life for some!
Charlie Pritchard -
Charlie, who lives in Shakespeare country, has a keen love for the bard. He is hoping to draw some inspiration from many of the Shakespeare plays, but we are not sure whether his bowling will be a 'Midsummer Night's Dream' or a Nightmare! Let's hope the bars are well stocked with Gin and Tonic!
