Thai Thevada

Thai Thevada the only all Thai team, a product of Chiang Mai cricket development.  May take time to adjust to the hustle and bustle of Sixes, but will not be disgraced. Sure to catch a couple of teams unawares.

Puttivat “Parn” Poshyanonda, manger and captain - Sure behind the stumps. The ball won’t go past because to good life is catching up with him. With his years of experience he should be resting at the bar enjoying the amble fluid. But he will be out in the midday sun full of pride with the young brigade of cricketers from Chiang Mai.

Suranya“Orf”  Janai - has graduated to the big league after a few productive years with the Cavaliers. Will relish the challenge against the big boys. Brutal with his straight drives (slogs) Stop them at your peril.

Thanatit ‘Tong” Jiraphanthawong - after a taste with the Camel Bar Humps last year is itching to get out there and prove his worth. Hit a mighty six in Bangkok, so watch it if he gets onto one. Full of power. May have to bowl if the captain has his way as Tong prefers to keep wickets

Yotsakorn “Chai” Chiaprom - enjoyed his stint with Lord’s Taverners last year so much he can‘t wait for the years Sixes. Bowling is improving since he has got away from behind the stumps.

Natinan “Bank” Supartakul - has grown so much he is the biggest of all. Lovely high straight action will surprise a few with his bounce. Graduated form The Gymkhana Cavaliers.

Peeravat “Gun” Duangthip - still silky smooth when bowling and his batting is improving. Much improved and had a quite a bit of experience now. Should get it all together.

Wasurat “Nite” Guntabupha - A useful all rounder is making his first appearance in the men’s league. Has the ability to surprise. Expected to be worthy of his place.

Kitti  “Nok” Moolla - strong boy is a force to be reckoned with. Pounds the ball in fast from a short run. Pretty sharp in the field as well.

Punsang “Non” Jungpragon - The joker of the pack, however not to be taken too lightly when he has the ball in his hand. Plenty of flight and tweek enough to confuse you. Batting is a mystery but makes runs.

Larn Tongyai - the elder of the real cricketing Thais excellent cricketer and will be a terrific example to the lads. Not sure whether he will make it to Chiang Mai but hoping

Luke Tongyai - makes a nice duo which the boys will really like. Had better perform or the boys will outshine them.

Thong Poshyanonda - a good supporter and drinker.  Johnny, will he be the Walking man of the team or maybe just the carrier of The Black Label?
