Glen "scratcher" O'Brien (player) - marks his crease with a scratch, if he gets a run it’s scratchy. He uses old style scratchy matches, so sort of get the picture why he is in a scratch team. Really should scratch him before it’s too late.

John "itchy" O'Brien - obviously been too near the “scratcher”. Get up early itchy, showers and still itchy. Itching for a game. Itching for a beer, pity he wasn’t itching to make a run or 2. Itching to get going.

Damian "nutts" O'Hara (player) -The last of the three musketeers. He got the nutts that are itchy and need scratchin’. What a fine team this is, "Itchy, Scratchy and Nutts" should all be quarantined before they get into the country. Where is the flee powder, might sort 'em out.

Andy "legend" Walton (player) - Surely a senior player to warrant being called “Legend” or is that a play on words, must have a real history. Better to perform during daylight, helps win matches.

Adam "new guy" Holyoake (player) - What has he let himself into with a Legend of Itchy, Scratchy Nutts best have a room of your own, better still another team without health problems.

Nick "mad-dog" Ashbrook (player) - Well, Mad dog sure has the problem licked, so I guess the rest of the team is well cared for. No more sleepless nights.

Simon "Sig" Ingram-Gillson (player) - Is that “Sig” or more appropriately swig. Taken to drinking his sorrows after all that what is above better to take a mild sedative, will sleep better. Johnny I hear you walking.

Kim "shatturd" Calderwood (player) - Got to be right with a bunch of would be’s can not possibly handle the pace, so will join “Sig” on the medication. Just don’t let him near the Mae Kong.

Peter "manager" Wann -, Now being named manager of this bunch of cricketers is something you would not even wish upon your worst enemy. Maybe it is just the ticket.

Shaun "shriek" Hilton - he heard who the manager is.  He missed the job and could not be happier.

David "curator" Gray - “curator” or is that procurer as he is bound to be cultivating some little thing during the week. Just watch what he plants it and where, the “mad dog” will sure to be on his heals.
