To avoid delays in a packed schedule, all matches (except finals) are played in pairs. So, the first innings (Batting) of Match A is followed by the first innings (Batting) of Match B. Then the 2nd innings of Match A is played, followed by the 2nd for Match B, and so on….
In an effort to promote more competitive cricket overall, Round1 groups are smaller this year, requiring only 2 matches per team to qualify for Cup, Shield, Bowl & Plate Divisions. In Round 2 teams play 3 matches each against (hopefully) more equal opposition, to qualify for the finals.
| Round 1 |
7 groups of 3 teams play round robin (2 matches each). 1 group of 4 teams play
A vs B, C vs D, then Winner 1 vs Loser 2 and Winner 2 vs Loser 1 (again 2 matches each). |

| Round 2 |

NOTE: See Sixes Rules (Page 70-72) Section C for points scoring , including bonus points system. A panel of Judges (Unbiased, Inscrutable Veterans we promise ) will assess Round 2 Division qualifications & team pairings should the Rnd 1 seeding & points systems fail to produce clear , deserving winners. The decisions of these venerable judges if required, will be final. Okay.
