Lords' Taveners

Lord's Taverners 2005Paul (Skinners) Bear

This wandering soul will fit right in at Chiang Mai as his yang and the Thai ying are in perfect harmony. Another virgin to this part of the world but will cope as a veteran I'm sure. Lets hope his cricket and his karma are as one for some on field success.

Glen (Scratcher) O'Brien

Part of the furniture at the sixes, long time player and long time player. Scratcher is the "Peter Pan" of the cricketers as he is still only 21, lucky boy.

Damian (Nutsy) O'Hara

Another stayer at this event, has had some good years and some not so good. Will give his all on & off the paddock. Just keep clear if he is on a scooter.

Glen (Chopper) Read

Chiang Mai virgin. Our English friend will surprise some by his endurance, commitment & willingness to share. After a good season of cricket in OZ he is our secret weapon this year.

Kim (Hughes) Calderwood

Cricket & tournament virgin, it is all ahead of him. Someone has to bat 6. Bowling will be the key to this player's success. Lucky there are no boats at this event?

John (Itchy) O'Brien

Intends to keep his whites clean this tournament. Better hope we all stay fit. Will lead us into the bar on most occasions. Remember, don't ring that bell John!

Peter (Achilles) Wann

(Mgr) The only man we all listen to, it wouldn't be a sixes tournament without Wanny. Has attended too many times to count. Keep that Thai whisky away and all will be fine.

Shaun (Shrek) Hilton

This man keeps the Thai economy going whilst on tour. His cricketing days are fast approaching extinction but will support from the boundary bar on every occasion. The cleanest cricketer on tour.
