Bangkok Postels

Bangkok Postels - 2005

Cyrus "Vyrus" Maybud
Our Swiss co-ordinator expert will again join us on tour. He tends to add some of that much needed class to the Postels, especially when we need it most. Been in particularly good form in the past 12 months with the bat, don't be surprised if Vyrus hits some big balls this year!

Jake "Ranga" Wiley
Son of Mark, this is the big 18th birthday present, this years tour. Looking forward to painting the town red with his mate Chopper, anything could happen. A nice bloke who puts in big time with his cricket, especially on the field. Mmmmm, 18 is drinking age in Thailand as well isn't it! Postel Virgin!

John "Croysers" Croysdill
Had such a good time on the Postels 10th Year tour, we could not hold him back this year. 3rd tour who a good chat which of course means he has many partners in the Postels group. I must mention his girth and his penchant for adding to the local Thai economy!

Doug "Cocktales" Hedley
Always the one to come up with a new line, a new idea, he is back. Known for his general all-round skill at the bars and around town. Only plays at Cricket Sixes Tournaments, but has shown he can hit some nice sixes.

Ken Acton
Has decided that the Spoon action is all that he needs for 2006, after his shoulder finally going on him last year. Feeling very comfortable in the Bangkok Postels, he is very excited this year as it is his 50th Year Tour!!! Now that means a drink or many.

Mark "Doc" Thorgersen
Long term tour veteran, the Doc has done it all. Found in gutters, collapsed on the field, let the team to Spoon Victory and the doctor always comes again. We will enjoy his company for what will be his 10th Postels Tour in 2006.

Andy "Cannuck" Scott
An American who is using his baseball skills to his best ability, in his joy of learning the art of the game of cricket. We expect big things in Chiang Mai this year from him, especially off the field. Postel Virgin!

Aaron Whyte
Has been seen on the beach recently practicing his striking of the ball, so we will see how he goes on the field? Seems he hits the tennis ball there a long way. A lad who enjoys a beer, a laugh, a chat and a good time, welcome. Postel Virgin!
