Tournament Format

To avoid delays in a packed schedule, all matches (except finals) are played in pairs. So, the first innings (Batting) of Match A is followed by the first innings (Batting) of Match B. Then the 2nd  innings of Match A is played, followed by the 2nd for Match B, and so on..

 

Round 1 The 5 Teams in each of the 5 groups play round robin within their groups.
Round 2

CUP DIVISION

5 Group winners plus 2 best runners-up.
1 Team with the best record goes directly to Cup Semi Final.
Other 6 teams progress to Quarter Finals as follows:

  • Match 1 - 2ND BEST WINNER V 2ND BEST RU
  • Match 2 - 3RD BEST WINNER V BEST RU
  • Match 3 - 4TH BEST WINNER V 5TH BEST WINNER

BROMLEY SHIELD (new trophy)

Remaining 3 Runners-up in round 1 groups plus 4 best 3rd placed teams.
1 Team with the best record goes directly to Shield Semi Final.
Other 6 teams progress to Quarter Finals as follows:

  • Match 1 - 4TH BEST RU V 4TH BEST 3RD
  • Match 2 - 5TH BEST RU V 3RD BEST 3RD
  • Match 3 - BEST 3RD  V 2ND BEST 3RD

SIXES BOWL

Remaining 3rd placed team plus 4th placed teams and best 5th placed team from round 1 groups.
1 Team with the best record goes directly to Bowl Semi Final.
Other 6 teams progress to Quarter Finals as follows:

  • Match 1 - BEST 4TH V BEST 5TH
  • Match 2 - 2ND BEST 4TH V 5TH BEST 4TH
  • Match 3 - 3RD BEST 4TH V 4TH BEST 4TH

JOE CARPENTER PLATE

Remaining 4 5th placed teams in Round 1play Semi Finals as follows :

  • Match 1 -- 2ND BEST 5TH V 5TH BEST 5TH
  • Match 2 -- 3RD BEST 5TH V 4TH BEST 5TH

NOTE:THE ABOVE WILL APPLY OTHER THAN THAT TEAMS FROM THE SAME ROUND 1 GROUP WILL NOT MEET IN A QUARTER FINAL

SPOON COMPETITION The 5 teams play round robin. Top 3 teams progress direct to Semi Finals. 4th and 5th placed teams play a Quarter Final.
