James "007" Billington - (London, England)
The original Pommy Postel who will probably lead the team for
this years event, therefore giving us a little class (possibly)?? 00 is always willing to add some spark to the tour, which
has always been appreciated by all. Has a particular enjoyment about ringing bells at bars in Thailand, especially at the Sugarshack
Bar. Seventh Postels C/Mai tour.
Phil Catterall - "The Cat" UK-style (Ireland/Cheshire)
Wwill need a different nom de guerre this week - the thought of 2 cats
on the prowl in Chiang Mai doesn't bear thinking about! Former Winnington
Park wild child turned Widnes eminence grise; Phil now commutes regularly
from Ireland to play in Cheshire at weekends. As a former member of Viking's
infamous Manchester Exiles tour, he has had a good preparation for Chiang
Mai - just ask him about Chunky Whittle and the Emu! First year "Virgin"
Postel.
Rex "Slydog" Evans - (Perth, Australia)
Making a much anticipated return to Thailand in his former role
as Tour Hanging Judge. Doggy has been seen sniffing about in all parts of Chiang Mai in the past, but this year is hoping to
find whatever he is looking for! Sixth C/Mai tour.
Joshua "Dongra" Kaporn - (Western Australia)
Is very excited about his first tour to Thailand and is in hard training
for the drinking challenge coming in Chiang Mai. A country lad who hits
the cricket ball a long way and from all accounts has the stamina needed
to contribute fully to the Postels cause of 2004. First year "Virgin".
Michael "Cat" Maher - (Perth, Australia)
Well known for his long-term social ventures to Chiang Mai since
1996. Seen chatting away in various corners of the Sugarshack Bar over the years during the sixes event. Looking forward to
again seeing friends new and old at this yearly celebration of cricket. Ninth C/Mai tour.
Brett "Kanga" Bastow - (Perth, Australia and wherever)
Is making a re-appearance in Chiang Mai and we
look forward to it. Has been venturing about in Asia and Europe since his last appearance and it is hoped that he may add a
little bit of sense to the team (not much chance of that). Has the acclaim to have been run out on a 5th run, something definitely
never attempted by any other Postel before. Second tour to Chiang Mai.
Daniel "Kiteboy" Shaw - (Melbourne, Australia)
A Postel first time player, will add some much needed youth to the squad
(and do we need it!!). Will also be needed to scrape various players up
around Chiang Mai and to get them going again. This of course is a huge
task and we know that he is up to it. Is also a fine young cricketer with
bat and ball. Postel "Virgin", but third
visit to Chiang Mai.
Warren "Wocca" Pugh - (Newcastle, Australia)
The transfer sensation of the year and one much applauded, especially
after his sensational tactics in Hua Hin last year. During his Postels
debut there, he was uncanny in the way he dismissed the opposition player
of the tournament. An excellent Chiang Mai nightlife expert, will be passing
on this expertise to his eager to learn teammates. Postel "Chiang
Mai Virgin", but is his sixth or seventh visit from memory.
Debbie "Budgirl" Rogers - (Tampa, USA)
She enjoyed so much last year, that has decided to make a re-appearance
in Chiang Mai. Her partying skills were so high that she has been welcomed back with much fanfare by the Postels. Second C/Mai
tour.
Rhonda Vincent - (Kalgoorlie, Australia)
An official scorer at the Chiang Mai Sixes, she always excels at all levels
during the Postel tours to Thailand. Keeps very busy at days, but still manages to be out with us at functions etc. with that
energetic enthusiasm enjoyed by us all. Third Tour to C/Mai.
Nancy "Baywatch" Worden - (Montreal, Canada)
Baywatch is a party girl that loves a good laugh, big party and generally
enjoys the fun which we all have in Chiang Mai. She has also converted
to become a cricket fan, well sixes style anyhow. Like Budgirl is travelling
a long way for the sixes. Second C/Mai tour.
