B.A. Dragons
Team at 2003 Sixes

The boys from Wales return to Chiang Mai once again to enjoy 10 days beer and cricket, probably in that order. This year the Dragons have decided to set up base camp in the White Lotus Restaurant on Charoen Prathet Road, (Nr Pornping Hotel) and welcome any team to come and join them for an early evening drink or even a very late one!!

Mark "JITTER" Neal
Mark has undergone two knee operations in the last 12 months but returns to Chiang Mai as a playing Captain, after having to skipper from the sidelines last year. Will he be able to lead the Dragons to more success this year or will it prove that Mark's a good Captain but Crap player. Mark has hinted that he may call time on his playing career with the Dragons after the sixes. (Yesssssss!!!!!)

Jason "ORANGE" Owens
Jason has to be described as one of the fittest guys in the squad and his love of golf is certainly evident whilst batting. I think the biggest giveaway is the 9 iron he uses at the crease. During nets Jason has being bowling like a demon, almost injuring several of the Dragons, but has he peaked too early?? Oh and in answer to the question on many girls lips, YES! The collar does match the cuffs!!

Richard "SLINKY" Lewis
Richard standing at nearly 6ft 5" should be able to send down a decent delivery, the trouble is, he is just too bloody nice. Don't be surprised if during the sixes you hear him apologising to batsmen and bowlers alike, but then what do you expect from a man who plays Dungeons & Dragons wherever and whenever he can. You have been warned!!

Chris "PODGEY" Davies
Chris is currently experiencing some problems whilst batting in nets, largely due to the fact that his bat is split into three pieces. The strange thing is though that although the edges are well used, the middle of the bat is like brand new. Chris has promised big things this year, but with a name like Podgey I makes you wonder what he is referring too!!

Neil "THE SCUD" Eggar
Neil stood in and kept wicket last year, and now classes himself as a true all rounder, we would like to think of him more as a Jack of All Trades Master of None!! Having only played once since the sixes last year and coupled with the fact he is currently complaining of a groin strain, Neil could struggle to perform both on and of the field. Although this guy's never say never attitude is sure too carry him through.

Ian "SHADEY" Howells
Ian has been tipped as the surprise package in the Dragons squad, and has performed well in nets this winter, the big question is can he carry this into the tournament. This shy retiring type has been taking acting lessons to overcome his stage fright, after he froze last year against Jack Frost (Pardon The Pun) and got carted for 29. Maybe with his new found confidence he might even leave the hotel for a night out on the town...

Simon "MOGSY" Morgan
Simon is technically the best player in the Dragons squad, and has the potential to make a big impact on the sixes, unfortunately Simons lack of self belief and immaturity will be the difference between success and failure. Simon has been known to throw the odd wobbler and realistically his only chance of hitting the big sixes sign is with one of his teddies.

Brad "THE EAGLE" Dodd
Brad is the first of the Non-Playing tourists and will be flown in to Chiang Mai direct from Helsinki after commentating on the National Curling Championships. This man can talk for Wales, and very often does as he is the only caller on Talk Sport radio. Don't let him near your mike Rick as you may not get it back!!

Joe "CASPER" Incledon
Joe is the other supporter in the Dragons tour party, although there are questions being asked if this guy actually exists, as nobody has ever seen him except for Neil. Maybe he is Neil imaginary friend?? But please if you do happen to see a very pale looking man with a welsh accent; please point him in the direction of the Dragons tent.
