Team at 2002 Sixes
Stephen "Once in a lifetime" Penney
Watch out for this knock 'em dead big hitter on the field this year!!
Still no bowling for Steve, but he could be diving for a 'once in a lifetime'
catch behind the wickets. Missed the wedding of the year with a very dubious
"once in a lifetime" excuse China my ass!! Could do well
for the white Africans this year providing he's not on another " once
in a lifetime" weekender to UK.
Wally "Commit" Pohl
At the time of press Wally was under the pendulum of hypnosis to "Commit"
to give up smoking - he now has to rely on the rest of you puffers to
support the tobacco trade! BUTT he is definitely not giving up exercising
the right elbow or his beautiful wife, so you'll still have to watch out
for the dreaded slammers! As long as Wally doesn't fall asleep during
the toasts you'll still have a lot to worry about on the cricket pitch
from his fast arm and loooong run up stuff. Also watch the lightning quick
singles!!
Dean "Betrothed" Henderson
As the groom in the wedding of the year, Dean finally swapped vows with
a stunningly sexy nymph and with his Hebrew speaking Santa Claus persona
we are avidly awaiting the arrival of little Kemasenki's to follow in
his footsteps. So this year the one eyed wonder returns with tendons blazing
and balls afire, so be afraid all ye lowly batsmen.
Andy "Allrounder" Keast
In out all about, he does the hokey pokey and turns around, and that's
what it's all about. Mr fitness played A game of rugby recently his first
in four years so is now superfit! Watch out for the quickies between the
wickets and the tremendous knocks, since after a recent "holiday"
in Brazil he'll be sure to have flexed those muscles somewhat.
Dave "Travelling Tobacconist" Hird
Having been away for a lot of the time Dave is in serious need of a
drunken spree, but already with a brood of three, I guess we'll have to
see. At the moment trying to decide on whether to specialise in rugby
10's, golf PGA or cricket 6's we are thrilled to say he is seriously on
form, fit as a fiddle and thirsty for victory.
