LORDS TAVERNERS 2003

LORDS TAVERNERS
Team at 2002 Sixes

Damian O'Hara ( Nutsy )

Again this year's captain and looking for back-to-back premierships, with his wallet firmly attached for the pork roast, it's no pants no drinks Nutsy all the way this year.

Tom Hogan ( The Pope )

Our international cricketer and engine room of the Taverners when on tour, the Pope will need to refuel at every stop to keep this crew in line for the tournament.
Armed with razor wit, and off spin you wouldn't believe and a hearty laugh - the tournament will be well served with this All Star.

Glen O'Brien ( Scratcher )

For this world traveller and all round cricketer Chiang Mai has been a must since 1998. If you want to know where everybody lives or how to get there just ask Scratch, he has the directions on the back of his hand. ( just make sure he isn't drinking at the time or you could end up in Burma ).

Peter Wann ( Manager )

The most important Taverner on tour, Wanny is the " conscience " of the team and without him the players would simply self-destruct. Always looking to bring a little bit of Joy to the tournament with a laugh or a song - we simply couldn't manage without this fine gentleman.

Shaun Hilton ( Shrek)

Well, has Chiang Mai recovered from the last visit of Shrek or will the bars be shaking under the tremendous strain that he has put on them? Benny will be happy to see the return of the jolly green giant as will many of his female fans.

Scooter Wicks ( Scooter )

After winning Rookie of the Year at the 2002 tournament, Scooter will be out to revenge the loss on the motor track in the go karts. Torn between batting, bowling, keeping or fielding, this all round cricketer is set to tomato sauce the opposition.

Carrington Sheperd ( The Shed )

Our new rookie ! This year we're sure very little encouragement will be required to find out what really makes Chiang Mai click. This big hitter is set for a ripper of a tournament and will be noticed by all in the middle of the wicket.

Greg Oldfield ( Oldie )

Will he or wont he be there this year, our number one batsman and all round good guy will keep the windscreen repairers busy if he makes it back to Chang Mai. P.S. anyone wanting to buy a house, see Greg.
