Team at 2002 Sixes
Dominic Bryan
Nicknamed 'Cymbals' due to his 'keeping'
duties ! Wicketkeeper/Batsman who returns to Chiang Mai for the third
year in a row. Likely to lead from the front socially, he hopes to take
a more 'active' role on the field after being sidelined with Gout last
year ! Owner of probably the worst golf swing you're likely to see.
Nigel 'The Fox' Fowler
Also a 'Frost' ever present in Thailand. Has been caught
red handed 'netting' with the BA Dragons and will be
fined accordingly ! This purveyor of cunning 'loopers'
is definately your man if you need a guide to some of Chiang Mai's more
interesting nightspots !
Paul Lack
Also back to Thailand for the third year running and returns for 'Frost'
after representing Ashwell Crusaders last year. An all rounder whose claims
to fame include dismissing both Viv Richards and Phil Simmonds in a charity
match and once taking a hat-trick of catches at 2nd slip.
Neil Billing
Another reappearing for us after playing for Ashwell last year. Batsman
and military medium bowler who plies his trade in Kent for Tenterton.
A phenomenal snorer, do not share a room with this man without earplugs
!
Richard 'Percy' Pallett
Returning for his second Thailand tour this former Kent representative
is hoping to once again score heavily (on the pitch i hope !) a useful
all rounder who will also represent Perth Postels in Hua Hin next week.
Ian Milton
'Milts', is a former Barings employee so will not be
asked to look after the Kitty ! Making his Thailand debut, this useful
all rounder and single handicap golfer is sure to make a useful contribution.
Andrew Klimcke
Another Chiang Mai debutant, this aggressive opening bowler and pinch
hitting batsman is sure to feature not least for his competitive nature
! Should have been born an Aussie !
Tim Klimcke
Andy's younger brother also on his first Thailand trip. This classy bat,
excellent fielder and useful medium pace bowler will be another sure to
make a big impact. The little so and so is also a single handicap golfer
so sure to be targeted for knobbling in the Sugar Shack !
Steve Garthwaite
Our reserve and illegal ninth player ! Steve hails from Hartlepool so
don't expect to understand a word he says ! Complete Bandit on the golf
course and will be handicapped accordingly ! If he gets a game, expect
fireworks with the willow.
Dave 'Pope' Salmon
Team supporter, Guru, Kitty Master and Social Cultural Attache. Dave's
nickname was down to him being always carried off the rugby pitch. Some
would argue it was for being carried home from the Pub ! Will be a great
asset to all off field activities.
