Team at 2002 Sixes
Paul Lazenbury :
Looking to break his own personal record for the least amount of sleep
/ longest case of verbal diarrhea, the self styled 'social manager / team
spokesman' will again be seen in all the local nightspots. Making his
third appearance at the Sixes, last year's losing captain will be hoping
to go one better this year even if he doesn't, he'll be in the right place
to drown his sorrows.
Dave Terrington :
Dave will be looking to successfully defend Cookie's Ashes as worst dressed
player of last year's tournament, and on current form is an odds on favorite!!
'Alexei' as he is affectionately known has finally left the comfort of
student life for the world of work, a fact that bears well with his father
if not with him!
Keith Mustow :
'Musty' as he is affectionately known, enjoyed a successful
trip last time and will be looking for a similar outcome this time around.
This hard hitting opening batsman is a keen golfer. Is he set for plenty
of birdies or will he stray out of bounds?!?!
Richard Howell :
Once again the junior member of the side. Making his second appearance
in Chiang Mai, this talented young all rounder will be looking to score
heavily on and off the pitch. His university education so far will put
him in od stead for this grueling social trip.
Karl Pearson :
A new recruit to the Gipsies' ranks, Karl is a talented all round cricketer
who is well equipped for Thailand. A professional drinker, he will be
a big hit with barmaids and fellow cricketers alike.
Jason Edgeworth :
Making his first appearance at the Sixes, this fresh faced young fast
bowler will be an obvious target for the locals. He will be well advised
to observe gender rules, otherwise he could be in for a nasty surprise!
A potential wingman / shower boy for Mr Johnson of the Sorries!
