| It is with the saddest of hearts that I pass on the news that Marshall
passed away on the 1st May, 2002 from a massive stroke. As you know
he was one of the leading lights in the Almar Touring Cricket Side
and will I'm sure be remembered for his unfailing humour, generosity
and kindness. His passing has left a large hole in all of our hearts
as indeed it has in Cape Town itself. His funeral will be on Monday
7th May and if you wish to pass on your condolances to his wife, Veleta,
her email address is as follows: 123@123.com

Shunts
On behalf of The Chiang Mai Sixes organizers
and participants we would like to express our shock and sadness at the
sudden passing of Marshall Lodder. The Almar team joined the Sixes's 'family'
for the first time in 2001, with Marshall as team captain and quickly
established themselves as great 'friends' and keen competitors on and
off the field - we share their sorrow in losing a fine friend, and would
like to express our sincerest sympathies to Marshall's wife, Veleta, at
this sad time.
